Securevision is a Singapore-based security systems integrator specialising in intelligent,IP-based security solutions. We design, deploy, and support integrated systems including CCTV, video analytics, intercoms, access control, alarm systems, and cloud-based platforms for residential, commercial, and institutional clients.
As we continue to expand our portfolio of brands and solutions, we are looking for a Technical Solutions & Product Engineer to strengthen our technical backbone and product capability.
📌 ROLE OVERVIEW
The Technical Solutions & Product Engineer sits at the intersection of product engineering, technical support, and solution enablement. You will be responsible for understanding our systems at a deep level, validating new products and software, supporting internal teams, and translating technical complexity into deployable, supportable solutions.
You will work closely with management, sales, installation, and service teams, and play a key role in shaping Securevision’s technical standards and knowledge base.
📝 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. PRODUCT & SOLUTION ENGINEERING
• Test, evaluate, and validate new products, firmware, and software platforms before adoption
• Understand security systems at an architecture and system level, including:
• CCTV, NVRs, and VMS platforms
• Video intercom systems
• Access control systems
• Alarm systems
• IP networking and cloud components
• Assess system stability,integration feasibility, deployment constraints, and limitations
• Provide structured technical feedback and recommendations to management.
2. TECHNICAL SUPPORT & TROUBLESHOOTING
• Provide 2nd / 3rd level technical support to installation and service teams
• Troubleshoot system, software, and network-related issues
• Support customers primarily via remote troubleshooting, with on-site support for complex cases when required
• Assist in root cause analysis and preventive improvements.
3. KNOWLEDGE BASE & TRAINING ENABLEMENT
• Build and maintain Securevision’s internal technical knowledge base
• Summarise vendor manuals into practical operational guides and reference materials
• Develop internal training decks and technical learning materials for technicians
• Use AI tools where appropriate to accelerate documentation and knowledge creation.
4. SALES & PROJECT ENABLEMENT
• Prepare and support system demos
• Participate in early-stage project discussions and technical solutioning sessions
• Support technical aspects of proposals and presentations as required
• Attend project meetings where technical input is needed to shape viable solutions
🎓 REQUIREMENTS
• Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics), IT, Networking, or a related discipline
• 2–6 years of experience in security systems, IP-based systems, or enterprise IT environments
• Strong understanding of IP networking concepts (IP addressing, ports, basic network troubleshooting)
• Comfortable with software configuration, firmware updates, and system validation
• Able to work independently and think at a systems level
🧠 PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
1. Hands-on experience with one or more of the following:
• CCTV and VMS platforms
• Video intercom systems (e.g. Akuvox or similar)
• Access control systems (e.g. ZKTeco or similar)
• Alarm systems (e.g. Risco or similar)
2. Experience conducting product demos or technical training
3. Familiarity with cloud-based or mobile security applications
4. Comfortable using AI tools to assist with learning, documentation, and summarisation

• Valid Class 3/3A driver’s license for site visits and travel preferred.

🕒 WORK SCHEDULE
• Location: Singapore, Near Paya Lebar MRT
• Monday to Friday 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• Occasional overtime may be required.
