Our client is seeking a highly experienced and meticulous Senior Quality Assurance Manager to lead their QA efforts for cutting-edge products and services in New York City, New York, US . Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute comprehensive quality assurance plans and strategies for software development lifecycle. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers and testers, fostering a culture of quality. Define and implement QA metrics, standards, and best practices. Oversee the design and execution of manual and automated test cases, test scripts, and test suites. Identify, document, and track software defects through to resolution. Collaborate closely with development, product management, and other stakeholders to ensure quality is built into the product from the outset. Evaluate and select appropriate QA tools and technologies, including test automation frameworks. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide professional development opportunities for the QA team. Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on product quality and test coverage. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the QA process. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements where applicable.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Minimum of 8 years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 3 years in a management or lead role. Proven experience in developing and implementing QA strategies for complex software systems. Strong understanding of various testing methodologies, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing. Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium). Proficiency in SQL and experience with database testing. Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments. Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model, balancing collaboration and independent work.
