Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Manager to lead our quality management initiatives within our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of quality control, quality inspection, and quality assurance processes to ensure products meet the highest standards of excellence. This role requires strong analysis skills, project management expertise, and a deep understanding of manufacturing and QA/QC principles. The Quality Assurance Manager will play a pivotal role in maintaining compliance, improving processes, and driving continuous improvement across the organization.
Responsibilities
• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality assurance policies and procedures aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Lead quality control and inspection activities to identify defects, non-conformities, and areas for improvement in the manufacturing process.
• Analyze data from quality inspections and testing to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for process enhancement.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure adherence to quality standards throughout all stages of manufacturing.
• Manage internal audits and coordinate external inspections to ensure compliance with certifications and regulations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by applying project management methodologies to optimize quality processes.
• Train and mentor staff on quality standards, inspection techniques, and best practices in QA/QC.
• Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics, audit findings, and corrective actions for executive review.
• Oversee corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address quality issues promptly and effectively.
Requirements
• Proven experience in manufacturing environments with a strong background in quality control, quality inspection, and quality assurance.
• Demonstrated analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets related to product quality.
• Expertise in quality management systems (QMS) and industry standards such as ISO 9001 or similar certifications.
• Strong project management skills with experience leading cross-functional teams on process improvement projects.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with production teams, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
• Knowledge of QA/QC methodologies, tools, and best practices within a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to lead audits, manage documentation, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field; advanced certifications such as CQE or Six Sigma are preferred.
