Overview
Annapurna Labs is looking for an Experienced System Integration Engineer to help define, shape, and integrate cutting-edge solutions for the next generation of our cloud platforms. In this role you will set the strategy for the PCIe interface you own, ensure the design works well, and drive complex system debugs involving HW, FW and SW components. You will work at a large scale and provide leadership to raise the bar and deliver a higher quality product on behalf of Amazon customers. This is a fast-paced, intellectually challenging position, and you will work with thought leaders in multiple areas of technology. You will set high standards for yourself and everyone you work with and continually look for ways to improve the performance, quality, cost and reliability of AWS products and services. Key responsibilities
• Define new products Validation strategy and lead the execution
• Support ongoing integrations of new products
• Monitor and raise the operational excellence related to the interface you own
• Lead triage, debug and root cause analysis of systems in AWS data centers
• Cooperate with AWS teams to improve quality and reliability of products operation in the fleet
• Provide Annapurna Labs’ ASIC design, SW development, QA and architecture teams information and requirements from customers’ fleet operation perspectives and represent the customer voice
Basic Qualifications
• B.Sc. in Electrical / Computer Engineering or related field
• 8+ years of HW Design/Support Experience or in Functional or Electrical Integration/Validation/Debug
• 7+ years of experience working with systems and experience with their SW, FW and HW components
• 3+ years of Technical Leadership experience
• Excellent knowledge on PCIe including SERDES, and controller expertise
Preferred Qualifications
• Large scale data analysis
• Basic skills in scripting: Python / Bash etc.
• Experience with server design and compute systems architecture
• Experience with operating systems, boot loaders, networking, and remote debugging
