Role - Oracle HCM Technical Lead Consultant
Role Level - Senior Consultant
Role Start Date - Feb. 16, 2026
Role End Date - Feb. 2027 - 1 year contract
No. Hrs/Days/Week - 40 hours/week Full-time or Part-Time 24 or 32 hours per week.
Pay Rate - Open (In line with market standards)
Role Location - Vancouver or Victoria, BC
Hybrid - (mostly remote with onsite during key milestones)
Role Description/Skillset:
The Oracle HCM Technical Lead is responsible for leading the technical design, development, and delivery of Oracle HCM Cloud solutions across all phases of an implementation. The role oversees integrations, data conversions, reporting, extensions, and technical architecture while working closely with functional teams, business stakeholders, and offshore/onshore developers. The Technical Lead ensures high‑quality, scalable, secure solutions aligned with client requirements and Oracle Cloud best practices.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Delivery Leadership
• Lead end‑to‑end technical delivery of Oracle HCM Cloud implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.1
• Own technical workstreams (Integrations, Reports, Data Conversions, Extensions, Fast Formulas).
• Oversee development activities such as HCM Extracts, OTBI, BI Publisher reports, HDL, REST/SOAP integrations, PaaS extensions, and scripts.2
• Ensure adherence to Oracle standards, integration patterns, and security controls.1
2. Solution Architecture & Design
• Design scalable and efficient technical architecture for HCM modules (Core HR, ORC, Learning, Talent, Absence, OTL, Payroll).3
• Conduct solution design workshops and review technical specifications.
• Translate functional requirements into technical design documents.2
3. Project & Stakeholder Management
• Collaborate with functional leads, Project Managers, business SMEs, and cross‑functional teams to validate technical solutions.1
• Provide technical estimates, identify risks, and propose mitigation strategies.
• Guide offshore/onshore developers and ensure high‑quality deliverables.
4. Development, Testing & Deployment
• Lead technical development across RICEW components.
• Perform unit testing and support SIT, UAT, parallel payroll testing, and cutover.2
• Support migration of configuration, code, integrations, and data across environments.
5. Production Support & Continuous Improvement
• Provide post‑go‑live hyper‑care technical support.
• • Drive optimization, automation, and performance improvements across HCM modules.
