Your Role

The Work
• Review and comprehend acceptance criteria and solution designs outlined in project features.
• Create detailed Technical Design documents that align with acceptance criteria and solution designs.
• Conduct walk-throughs of technical design documents with development teams.
• Communicate technical solutions and project progress to various cross-functional teams.
• Ensure the developed code adheres to technical specifications, maintaining high-quality deliverables.
• Analyze and triage defects, providing recommendations for fixes.
• Configure and extend Oracle Utilities products to meet project requirements.
• Exhibit exceptional verbal and written communication to engage with cross-functional teams effectively.
• Lead, mentor, and assess project teams while managing their performance.
• Prioritize tasks and coordinate efficiently with multiple teams.
• Build trust with clients, teammates, and management to ensure project success.
• Collaborate closely with Business and Functional Designers to ensure alignment of technical solutions with solution approaches.
• Continuously enhance your skills to keep pace with technological advancements.
• Stay informed on industry trends and Oracle features to deliver optimal solutions to clients.
Please note that travel may be required for this role, ranging from 0% to 100% based on business needs and client requirements.
Qualifications
• At least 8 years of experience with Oracle Utilities applications, including Customer Care and Billing (CC&B), Meter Data Management (MDM), and Customer to Meter (C2M).
• A minimum of 5 years in leadership roles, including planning, managing, and delivering projects.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Technical Designer on C2M / CC&B implementations.
• 5+ years of experience with Configuration Tools components and programming in Java / Groovy.
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (minimum 12 years). If you hold an Associate's Degree, a minimum of 6 years of work experience is required.
