Job Description
• Lead and manage the software engineering team (backend, frontend, mobile).
• Define and oversee system architecture, API strategy, and technical integrations.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of payment systems and infrastructure.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Operations, and Compliance teams.
• Set and enforce coding standards, engineering best practices, and performance goals.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and drive continuous improvement.
• Build and foster a strong, high‑performing engineering culture.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of software development experience, including 3+ years in a technical leadership or managerial role.
• Proven experience working in leading Mainland Chinese technology companies (e.g. Alibaba, Tencent, ByteDance, etc.) is required.
• Strong understanding of payment systems, transaction processing, and fintech architecture.
• Proficiency in modern programming languages (e.g. , Java, Python, Go, TypeScript).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and DevOps / CI‑CD environments.
• Excellent communication and people‑management skills.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English; Cantonese preferred.
