What you’ll be doing: The Officer, Global Events will play a key role in driving Plaza Premium Group’s global event strategy and business development initiatives. This position goes beyond administrative support to actively contribute to planning, execution, and optimization of international conferences and partnership engagements. The role involves: • Leading research and analysis to identify market trends, competitor activities, and partnership opportunities. • Coordinating end-to-end event logistics, including vendor management, budgeting, and timeline control. • Developing high-impact presentations, proposals, and marketing materials to support business development objectives. • Managing stakeholder communications and ensuring seamless collaboration across internal teams and external partners. • Driving post-event evaluations, ROI analysis, reporting, and actionable insights to enhance future strategies. • Supporting strategic initiatives that strengthen PPG’s global presence and ecosystem through events and partnerships. • Assist in administrative tasks such as data entry, document preparation, and scheduling. • Maintain organized records and databases related to conferences and partnerships. Event Coordination • Help coordinate event logistics, including venue arrangements, travel, and on-site support. • Support post-event follow-ups, including feedback collection and reporting. • Collaborate with various departments to streamline event-related processes. Research & Analysis • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities. • Gather insights on global events and industry benchmarks to inform planning. Content & Presentation • Build professional decks and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. • Prepare briefing materials and proposals for event-related meetings. Planning & Execution • Assist in the research, planning, and execution of global events and partnership initiatives. • Manage logistical aspects such as vendor coordination, timelines, and budgets. About you: • Bachelor diploma or higher in Business, Hospitality or Event Management. • Professional experience in events organization. Experience in attending several conferences. • Strong research and analytical abilities. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). • Proficiency in AI platforms (ChatGPT, DeepSeek, etc) – no coding necessary. • Excellent written and spoken English. • Highly organized with strong attention to detail. • Customer-service mindset and sense of responsibility. • Ability to work under supervision while contributing proactively. • Natural affinity to network and build new professional connections to develop events pipeline and objectives. • Willingness to adopt a travel-centric approach as needed. • This role is ideal for a motivated individual looking to gain hands-on experience in global business development and event management.
