Job Description: Capgemini America, Inc. seeks a Lead Test Analyst based out of its Chicago, IL U.S. headquarters. The employee may also work at various unanticipated locations. S/he will perform the following duties\: coordinate and manage routine embedded software design projects; negotiate specifications, software deliverable schedules and change requirements with customer; act as a Subject Matter Experts, understanding the Complex software requirement and resolving any queries/roadblock that might prevent or delay the product development; reduce the cost of quality and drive higher customer satisfaction by optimizing and implementing the correct testing technique; develop and define embedded software test strategies and plans; analyze test results and ensure they meet specifications; develop design improvements; review defect reports; perform, guide and plan Black box, Memory Analysis, Regression Testing and Integration testing; review quality related issues and provide initial approval of recommended improvements; identify and implement process and product improvements; oversee, assign, and review work of junior colleagues; coach and provide guidance, feedback and on-the-job training; analyze current processes, systems and equipment and recommend and implements improvements; realization of system design and schematics of software applications with medium to high complexity; follow and contribute to Software Development Plan designed by the Program Manager and update status regularly during team status meetings; work closely with other vertical teams including Integration and Release teams and hardware design team for deliveries of base/platform software; participate in software delivery review discussions Highlight the Risk (if any); and perform planning and delivery for Optical character recognition tool. Basic Qualifications: This position requires a bachelor's degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering (any), or closely related field plus at least 2 years of experience in the job offered, as Tester, Test Analyst, Quality Assurance Analyst, Software Engineer, Systems Analyst, or related IT position. In lieu of a bachelor's degree, the employer deems that the suitable combination of education, training or experience acceptable is 3 years of study towards U.S. bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering (any), or closely related field plus 3 years of IT experience. The applicant must also have\: any period of experience working within the automotive or embedded domains; any period of experience with all aspects of product testing, including test planning, documentation, use case creation, defect management, and reporting; any period of experience performing quality assurance, manual, performance, or automated testing; any period of experience working with QA methodologies, including functional or non-functional testing, best practices, and standards; any period of experience working with Test Director, HPQC, Selenium, Load Runner, WorkSoft, or Cucumber; any period of experience developing and defining embedded software test strategies and plans, including analyzing test results.
