Test Lead

Role Summary: We are seeking a Test Lead at Onsite with strong Test leadership skills and hands-on exposure to Data/ETL Testing, Automation Testing and Test leadership activities. The role focuses on Techno-Leadership and scaling up the Testing team in Engineering, Automation and AI areas. Key Responsibilities: • Lead a test team as single point of contact from Onsite • Support both Manual and Automation test teams • Closely work with the stakeholders to understand business requirements and accordingly create test plan, strategy and test process • Build / enhance Test strategies, Test automation framework, address technical bottlenecks, and provide solutions. • Review test deliverables and ensure it is up-to-date, complete, and accurate. • Responsible for executing tests as defined in the test plan and reporting the status • Need to manage multiple testing teams. Must Haves: • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. • 8+ years of strong experience in Test Leadership and testing areas • Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake. • Advanced SQL and performance tuning skills • Hands on experience in developing UI automation script in Python using Selenium/Appium framework. • Hands on experience in preparing and updating test automation scripts as per new hardware and software features/functionalities. • Experience in building or enhancing Automation Framework (Hybrid, Data Driven, Keyword Driven etc.) • Hands on experience in CI/CD: MAVEN, Jenkins/AWS Pipelines (EC2) based testing • Experience with Agile/DevOps methodologies Domain Skills: • Experience in Retail Domain – preferably with Merchandise/ Data/Commerce retail. Skill set and Certifications: • Test Management tools like JIRA/HP ALM. • SDET concepts, Agile methodologies and Testing Process • Appium and Selenium WebDriver with Java • Java, Maven, Jenkins, Automation frameworks like BDD, TestNG, JUnit • Snowflakes, Apache Airflow experience or expertise (Good to have) • ISTQB Certification Salary Range - CAD 105,000- CAD 130,000 per annum as base + Benefits ITC Infotech is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
