Job description:
Role Purpose:
Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of financial data and analytics solutions within the Financial Data Hub through systematic testing, validation, and quality assurance processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute test plans, scripts, and cases for data pipelines, reports, and dashboards.
• Validate data accuracy, transformations, and financial calculations across systems.
• Perform ETL testing, regression testing, and system integration testing for new releases.
• Work closely with data engineers, BI developers, and finance teams to resolve defects and improve data quality.
• Maintain QA documentation and contribute to continuous improvement of testing frameworks.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, audit, and security standards.
Skills & Competencies:
• Strong experience in data testing, SQL validation, and ETL verification.
• Possesses financial expertise to support data-driven strategic business decisions
• Knowledge of Power BI, data warehousing, and financial reporting systems.
• Understanding of QA methodologies and software testing lifecycle.
• High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, PyTest, or data testing frameworks) is an advantage.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or related field.
• Experience level is 8+ years
• 3+ years’ experience in data or BI quality assurance, preferably in a financial or regulatory environment.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience testing data in BI/ETL environments
