The Senior End‑User Computing Engineer is responsible for managing, securing, and optimizing end‑user devices across corporate and store environments. This role owns patching, application lifecycle management, endpoint security, printer infrastructure support, and device lifecycle upgrades. The engineer will collaborate closely with infrastructure teams, security groups, store operations, and third‑party partners to ensure a consistent, secure, and reliable computing experience for all users. Key Responsibilities 1. Patch Management & Endpoint Updates Lead SCCM (ConfigMgr) patching cycles and manage Ring1, Ring2, and Ring3 deployment architectures. Perform SCCM administration, including upgrades, maintenance, distribution point health, and content management. Oversee OS patching and upcoming initiatives such as Windows 10 LTSB (EOL) migration to LTSC/LTSB‑C for store and corporate devices. 2. Application Deployment & Lifecycle Management Deploy, remove, and update applications using Microsoft SCCM Software Center. Package installers, validate compatibility, and manage update schedules for enterprise applications. Support Java uninstall and migration to OpenJDK, ensuring device‑level compatibility. 3. Print Infrastructure Support Support and maintain PrinterLogic, including updating printer drivers and migrating configurations. Manage and troubleshoot Zebra Print Manager solutions for store and warehouse devices. Use enterprise tools to monitor print performance, resolve issues, and move printers across different subnets during network changes. 4. Modern Endpoint Management Assist in the administration and deployment of policies, profiles, and compliance rules in Microsoft Intune. Support Microsoft Defender deployments, including ad‑hoc package pushes and device remediation requests. Implement changes in Group Policy Objects (GPOs) using Group Policy Management Console. 5. G‑Suite & Chromebook Support For Store users need to support for G‑Suite and Chromebooks, including OS updates and device enrollment. 6. Collaboration & Build Engineering Required 8–10 years of experience in End‑User Computing, Desktop Engineering, or Endpoint Administration. Strong hands‑on experience with SCCM/ConfigMgr, patching, packaging, and deployment rings. Expertise with Windows 10/11, LTSC, imaging, provisioning, and upgrades. Experience with enterprise printing platforms including PrinterLogic and Zebra printers. Working knowledge of Active Directory, GPO management, and Microsoft Intune/Endpoint Manager. Familiarity with G‑Suite and Chromebook device administration.
