| Summary :
Python engineer to work on a new requirement for database infrastructure maintenance and development. The role will require a self-sufficient individual, capable of working in a complex environment building new functionality and maintaining existing infrastructure required to support the environment.
| Your challenges ?
The role involves the following tasks and responsibilities :
• The role will be for a database infrastructure developer / engineer. The candidate will be working on various database related infrastructure / automation projects that will require the development or maintenance of modules/scripts using python and ksh ;
• The candidate will be responsible for development unit level testing and integration testing. MS is looking for a result driven individual who is able to complete tasks with minimal supervision ;
• The candidate should have a strong track record of delivering projects on time.
| What do we expect from you ?
The minimum required skills necessary for this role :
• 2-5 years of experience ;
• Understanding scripting is a core requirement ;
• Strong Python scripting ;
• Experience of revision control systems ;
• Strong Unix shell scripting (in particular Korn Shell) ;
• Good database knowledge ;
• Knowledge of Perl is a plus
