About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance/ Quality Control Associate to join our team. As a Quality Assurance/ Quality Control Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our construction projects meet the highest standards of quality and safety. Your attention to detail, ability to problem-solve, and commitment to excellence will be key in maintaining our reputation for delivering superior results.
Key Duties and Delights
• Quality Control & Inspection
• Conduct routine and milestone-based inspections to ensure construction works comply with approved shop drawings, IFC drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Verify the accuracy, dimensions, materials, and workmanship quality of executed works against drawings and quality standards.
• Identify non-conformities, deviations, or defects and document findings clearly.
• Drawing & Specification Compliance
• Check the alignment between working drawings and actual site execution, including architectural, structural, and MEP elements (as applicable).
• Flag inconsistencies or discrepancies between drawings and site conditions and escalate them promptly.
• Coordinate with Project Manager, Site Manager, and Engineering/Design teams for clarification and resolution.
• Quality Documentation & Reporting
• Prepare and maintain QA/QC inspection reports, checklists, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
• Track corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) until closure.
• Ensure quality records are properly documented and auditable.
• Defect Prevention & Rework Reduction
• Proactively identify quality risks before they become rework issues.
• Support site teams in understanding quality requirements to reduce repeated defects.
• Monitor rectification works to ensure compliance and proper closure.
• Coordination & Communication
• Work closely with Project Manager, Site Supervisors, and other stakeholders to align quality expectations.
• Provide clear, factual, and solution-oriented feedback related to quality findings.
• Support quality handover and snag-list processes where required.
• Compliance & Continuous Improvement
• Ensure construction works comply with internal quality standards, project requirements, and applicable regulations.
• Provide input for improving QA/QC processes, checklists, and inspection standards based on site findings.
Requirements
Experience & Background
• Minimum 3–6 years of experience in construction QA/QC or site quality roles.
• Experience in building construction, prefabrication, modular construction, or fit-out projects is preferred.
• Strong ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
Technical & Quality Skills
• Solid understanding of construction quality standards, inspection processes, and defect control.
• Experience preparing QA/QC documentation, inspection checklists, and NCRs.
• Familiarity with site execution processes and construction sequencing.
Personal & Professional Attributes
• High attention to detail and strong quality mindset.
• Assertive and confident in raising quality issues when standards are not met.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
• Disciplined, proactive, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced site environment.
