The Role:
• Ensure the ongoing stability, maintenance, and improvement of public‑facing applications to meet user expectations and service requirements.
• Drive application modernization initiatives by transforming legacy and monolithic systems into modern architectures and platforms, adopting DevOps methodologies and utilizing the corporate technology stack.
• Provide technical support and contribute to the development of the HKMA Corporate Websites' content management system, with strong emphasis on automation, security standards, and web accessibility compliance.
• Perform support duties outside regular office hours when required, including application deployments, system patching, and handling production incidents.
Experience Needed
:
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of relevant IT experience in website and web application development.
• Hands‑on development experience with JavaScript (such as and ), PHP using the Laravel framework, HTML, JSON, and UiPath.
• Experience in developing and supporting WordPress‑based content management systems and working with RESTful APIs will be considered an advantage.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills in both English and Chinese
