As we continue to expand, we are seeking a dynamic and tech-savvy Web Developer/UI/UX Designer to join our catering services company.
The Web Developer / UI/UX Designer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the company's website and digital platforms to support online sales, customer enquiries, brand presence, and operational efficiency for the catering business.
This role ensures a smooth, user-friendly experience for customers browsing menus, placing enquiries, and making bookings, while supporting internal teams with digital tools and updates.
Key Responsibilities
Web Development
• Design, develop, and maintain the company website, landing pages, and microsites
• Ensure website performance, security, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility
• Update menus, pricing, promotions, seasonal offerings, and event packages promptly
• Integrate enquiry forms, booking systems, payment gateways, and third-party platforms
• Work with hosting providers and manage basic server, domain, and CMS administration
• Troubleshoot website issues and provide timely fixes
• UI/UX Design
• Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces aligned with the brand
• Improve customer journey from menu browsing to enquiry and checkout
• Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and design assets
• Conduct basic usability testing and implement improvements
• Ensure mobile-first and customer-friendly design
Business & Operations Support
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Operations teams
• Support online campaigns, festive promotions, and corporate catering launches
• Optimize website for conversion (enquiries, orders, leads)
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date content aligned with operational capacity
SEO & Analytics (Basic)
• Implement basic SEO best practices
• Monitor website traffic and user behavior using analytics tools
• Recommend improvements based on data insights
Requirements
Education & Experience
• Diploma or Degree in Web Development, UI/UX Design, Computer Science, or related field
• Minimum 13 years of relevant experience (F&B or e-commerce experience is a plus)
Technical Skills
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, or similar)
• Familiarity with UI/UX tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch)
• Basic understanding of SEO, web analytics, and performance optimization
• Experience integrating forms, payment gateways, and third-party tools
