Inviting applications for the role of Technical Associate – Operations and Site Support Associate
We are seeking a motivated and versatile Entry-Level Operations and Site Support Associate. This multifaceted role is designed for a highly adaptable self-starter who will support the seamless integration of our physical supply chain and logistics with our cloud-based IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be a crucial on-site presence, providing "hands and feet" support for critical systems while assisting with daily supply chain coordination and cloud operations monitoring.
Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Coordination:
Assist with daily supply chain functions, including tracking shipments, managing purchase orders, and updating inventory records in ERP or WMS systems.
Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and warehouse teams to ensure on-time and in-full (OTIF) deliveries.
Conduct regular physical inventory counts and audits to reconcile stock levels and report discrepancies to management.
Help analyzebasic supply chain data to identify potential bottlenecks or inefficiencies and suggest process improvements.
On-Site ("Hands and Feet") IT Support:
Perform physical diagnosis and basic repair of hardware failures for servers and networking devices at designated sites.
Manage and maintain physical inventory of IT assets, ensuring accurate records and secure storage.
Escort and monitor third-party vendors or non-employee personnel during on-site maintenance or installations to ensure physical security compliance.
Cloud Operations (Cloud Ops) Assistance:
Monitor system performance alerts for cloud applications and services using established monitoring tools.
Follow the documentation of cloud processes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and incident resolution steps.
Collaborate with the cloud team to support routine maintenance, testing, and deployment activities.
Log and track technical issues in ticketing systems, ensuring timely escalation and resolution of basic incidents.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
Bachelor's Degree required. Preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field Experienced
Preferred qualifications / Skills
Technical Knowledge:
Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts and platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Basic understanding of tools usage like Power BI
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and a willingness to learn ERP/WMS systems.
Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with various teams and vendors.
A proactive, self-starter mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
