System Engineer (Microsoft & Linux)
Job Description:
• To work with the vendors / suppliers to perform maintenance tasks, such as bug fixing and patching;
• To support the decommissioning work of the Cargo Big Data System;
• To perform testing support and user support of Trade Single Window System and Website;
• To review updated deliverables from vendor, such as system documentation and user manual;
• To provide technical support and perform tuning on the system, such as infrastructure health check, installation and configuration, problem diagnosis and troubleshooting; and
• To perform any works assigned by supervisor.
Requirement Details:
• Higher Diploma / Degree in Computer Science or related subjects
• At least 4-5 years experience in infrastructure
• Experience in the whole system development life cycle of an IT system
• Experience in performing quality control of IT services provided by vendor
• Experience in Microsoft Windows Server and Linux Server
• Experience in handling MS SQL and MySQL
• Good communication skills
• Good command in spoken and written English and Chinese
