To support the continued expansion of our cloud-native infrastructure and ensure operational excellence, we are seeking a
System Administrator
to join our team in Dubai. This role focuses on managing and securing our Linux-based systems and supporting infrastructure services critical to our operations.
Main Responsibilities
Linux System Administration
• Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers (Ubuntu, CentOS,
Red Hat Enterprise Linux
)
• Apply system updates, patch management, and OS hardening
• Monitor system performance and optimize server resources
• Automate recurring tasks using scripts and system tools
Infrastructure Services Management
• Manage core infrastructure services (DNS, DHCP, NTP, LDAP)
• Maintain user access, file systems, and backup routines
• Configure and maintain system-level firewall rules and access policies
• Support application deployment and environment configuration
Monitoring & Performance
• Set up and maintain system monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana)
• Respond to alerts, analyze logs, and resolve system incidents
• Perform regular system audits and enhance infrastructure resilience
Security & Compliance
• Implement and enforce Linux security best practices
• Manage SSH key policies, OS hardening measures, and log integrity
• Support audit readiness and documentation of compliance requirements
Collaboration & Support
• Work closely with DevOps, Network, and Security teams
• Provide Level 2/3 technical support for infrastructure-related issues
• Participate in on-call rotations and planned maintenance windows
Documentation & Procedures
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of systems, processes, and configurations
• Contribute to infrastructure improvement initiatives and internal standards
Required Profile
Essential Skills:
• Strong command of Linux system administration (Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS, Red Hat)
• Good understanding of server security, file systems, and permissions
• Experience with system monitoring and automation tools
• Familiarity with virtualization and container environments (VMware, Docker, Podman)
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
• Scripting skills (bash, Python)
