Position: Sr Infrastructure/ Network Engineer to support a Nutanix Build and Migration Our client is looking for a Sr Infrastructure/ Network Engineer to support a Nutanix Build and Migration. Overview: Our client is undertaking a strategic redesign of its network infrastructure to improve scalability, security, and resiliency. This role will support the implementation of a new network topology, including firewall and switch configuration, routing and segmentation changes, and the development of updated firewall policies. The position will also play a key role in documentation, virtual machine workload migration, and the decommissioning of Cisco Hyperflex infrastructure. Must Have's: • 5+ years as a Network Engineer • Proven experience in network engineering or infrastructure support • Strong knowledge of firewall and switch configuration, routing, and network segmentation • Experience developing and managing firewall policies • Familiarity with virtualized environments and virtual machine workload migrations • Experience working with Cisco infrastructure (including Hyperflex, preferred) • Ability to produce clear, accurate technical documentation Responsibilities: • Implement changes to network topology to support a scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure • Configure and manage firewalls and switches, including routing, segmentation, and policy updates • Develop, apply, and maintain new firewall rules and security policies • Create and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including updated network diagrams and revised IP addressing schemes • Support the migration of virtual machine workloads to new environments • Assist with the decommissioning of Cisco Hyperflex infrastructure in accordance with project milestones • Collaborate with ASC technical teams to transition responsibilities and ensure knowledge transfer • Ensure network changes align with security best practices and organizational standards • Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues during and after implementation
