About SDA At SDA, we specialize in helping enterprises unlock the full value of the SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP). We do this through two complementary pillars: • Products: We design and deliver innovative, user-centric solutions on SAP BTP, available on the SAP Store and trusted by leading enterprises. • Services: We provide SAP BTP consulting and advisory services, enabling clients to modernize their SAP landscapes, extend S/4HANA, and embrace clean core principles. We are a lean, ambitious, and values-driven team committed to excellence, integrity, and customer success. Role Summary We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to support enterprise transformations to SAP S/4HANA Cloud, Private Edition under the RISE with SAP framework. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that business, application, and integration connectivity requirements are correctly translated into RISE- and ECS-compatible network designs, and that all customer-side and hyperscaler dependencies are coordinated, validated, and aligned with SAP-managed service models. You will work closely with the RISE Migration Lead (SI-side MCS-equivalent), SAP ECS teams, hyperscaler network teams, and customer IT stakeholders to ensure secure, resilient, and predictable connectivity for mission-critical SAP workloads. • Full-time availability during the client's business hours is required, with the project scheduled to start on March 2, 2026. Key Responsibilities • Translate business, application, and integration requirements into RISE with SAP–compliant network designs and implementation requirements, aligned with SAP ECS service boundaries. • Assess and understand the existing enterprise network landscape, including traffic management, connectivity, and orchestration patterns, and define how these capabilities are mapped or adapted within the RISE operating model. • Define and validate target-state network architectures for SAP S/4HANA Cloud, Private Edition, including hybrid connectivity between customer environments and SAP-managed cloud landscapes. • Coordinate customer-side responsibilities for routing, firewall rules, DNS configuration, IP allow-listing, and security prerequisites, ensuring readiness ahead of SAP ECS execution. • Collaborate with SAP ECS and hyperscaler teams (AWS, Azure, GCP) to validate: • Supported connectivity models • End-to-end traffic flows for SAP and non-SAP integrations • Latency, throughput, resiliency, and availability expectations • Validate network behavior post-implementation, including connectivity stability, routing paths, latency characteristics, and failover behavior, ensuring alignment with business expectations. • Support all RISE migration phases (readiness, cutover, stabilization) by coordinating network dependencies, tracking risks, and resolving issues across SAP, customer, and third-party teams. • Work closely with the RISE Migration Lead, SAP Basis, Integration, Security/IAM, SAP BTP, and application teams to ensure network assumptions are explicitly identified, validated, and addressed early. • Produce and maintain network documentation, including architecture diagrams, dependency matrices, validation results, and operational handover materials. Qualifications • 8+ years of experience in enterprise networking, cloud networking, or cloud migration programs. • Proven experience supporting SAP landscapes hosted on hyperscalers or RISE with SAP environments. • Strong understanding of hybrid connectivity models, enterprise routing, firewall design, DNS, and network security principles. • Experience coordinating with SAP-managed environments and hyperscaler networking teams. • Demonstrated ability to analyze legacy enterprise network constructs and map them into managed cloud service models. • Strong communication skills and ability to work across SAP, customer IT, and third-party vendors. • Relevant certifications such as CCNP / CCIE, or AWS / Azure / GCP Networking or Security certifications. • Familiarity with SAP network and integration patterns, including SAProuter, Web Dispatcher, and SAP application traffic (RFC, OData, APIs). • Experience supporting mission-critical cutovers and go-live network validation.
