**Primary purpose of job**
The purpose of the senior cloud architect role is to architect and design robust and scalable cloud solutions using platforms
like Azure and Google Cloud, ensuring design best-practices are followed and maintained. The senior cloud architect will be
part of QatarEnergy Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) team and will work closely with diverse stakeholders across
QatarEnergy to ensure that cloud solutions align with the organization goals and objectives
**Experience & Skills**:
- 10+ years of experience in complex cloud solution architecture across large and diverse organizations leveraging cloud
platforms such as Azure and GCP.

- Strong competence in providing assurance and governance on cloud solutions using industry best-practices and
referenceable architecture blueprints.
- Strong experience in aligning cloud technical strategies with business objectives, ensuring that architectural decisions
support the overall vision and strategy of QatarEnergy.
- Proven track records in providing strategic vision in multi-cloud architectures and mastering innovative solutions in
complex environments.
- Established solution architecture experience with strong expertise in cloud infrastructure, networking, and cloud
- Strong knowledge across cloud IaaS & PaaS solutions.

- Proficient knowledge in DevOps principles to enhance cloud operational efficiency via automation.

**Education**:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or computer science from a reputable institution.- Solution architecture certification from leading cloud service providers such as Microsoft and Google.
