Our valued client is looking for a Sr. Agile Project Manager to support a high-performing, cross-functional Risk & Corporate Services squad
.
This is a hybrid position (2 days on-site per week) in Ottawa, Montreal, or Toronto.
Tasks include:
• Enable the team to achieve its goals through agile practices, continuous improvement, and a strong focus on outcomes that matter to our customers
• Agile Delivery Leadership:
Guide the squad in applying agile principles and frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) to plan, execute, and deliver high-impact initiatives aligned with customer and business priorities.
• Customer Value Focus:
Ensure that the team maintains a clear line of sight to customer needs and outcomes, facilitating prioritization and decision-making that maximizes value delivery.
• Team Enablement:
Foster a culture of collaboration, psychological safety, and continuous learning. Remove impediments, support team health, and help build sustainable delivery practices.
• Stakeholder Engagement:
Act as a bridge between the squad and stakeholders, ensuring transparency, alignment, and shared understanding of goals, progress, and risks.
• Metrics & Improvement:
Use data-driven insights to support team retrospectives, track delivery performance, and identify opportunities for improvement in both process and outcomes
Must have:
• Eligible for reliability clearance
• Proven experience in agile project management within a complex, customer-centric environment.
• Strong facilitation, coaching, and servant leadership skills.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive clarity in a fast-paced setting.
• Familiarity with the insurance domain is an asset
Nice to have:
• Project Manager / Scrum Master certification (e.g., DASM, DASSM, PSM, PMP)
• Knowledge of Azure Dev Ops (ADO)
• Knowledge of Planview Portfolios
• Fluently bilingual in both official languages, French and English
