Security Engineer - Cybersecurity Specialist 💰 Salary: $140,000 - 140,000 per year

📝 Rquirements:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field
- Over 3 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, network security, or system security
- Preferred certifications include CISSP, CEH, OSCP, GSEC, or similar
- Practical experience with firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Cisco, Fortinet) and SIEM (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
- Strong knowledge of cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), IAM, and encryption methods
- Proficient in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation tasks
- Strong analytical skills for assessing security incidents and developing effective responses
- Excellent communication skills to convey security risks to both technical and non-technical audiences
👩💻👨💻 Your responsibilities are:
- Design and implement security solutions including firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, EDR, and encryption technologies
- Configure and maintain security settings across network, cloud, and endpoint environments
- Develop secure system designs following industry best practices
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts, logs, and network traffic for anomalies
- Conduct forensic investigations, malware analysis, and remediation of incidents
- Collaborate with SOC teams to enhance security monitoring and incident response strategies
- Perform penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and security audits
- Identify and resolve security misconfigurations and vulnerabilities
- Ensure security policies meet industry standards (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, SOC 2, etc.)
- Integrate security practices within CI/CD pipelines and cloud systems
- Automate security monitoring, log analysis, and vulnerability assessments
- Develop scripts and tools for efficient incident response and threat management
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and frameworks
- Provide security training and guidance to IT staff and employees
- Document security policies, procedures, and best practices
