Join Meta's Offensive Security Group! We are seeking a talented and experienced Offensive Security Engineer to become an integral part of our team. In this crucial role, you will execute tactical, offensive assessments across different environments, emulating both internal and external threats to significantly enhance our organization's security. Your Responsibilities: • Lead offensive security engagements, including Red Team operations, targeted evaluations, and comprehensive vulnerability research and exploitation on internal and external systems. • Design, plan, and oversee complex assessments and Purple Team Engagements to evaluate the effectiveness of our attack detection and prevention mechanisms. • Automate various aspects of assessments, including scoping and other offensive security tasks, to enhance our operational efficiency. • Utilize Threat Intelligence research to monitor APT trends and assist partners in testing their defenses against evolving threats. • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, such as Incident Response and Product Security, to align remediation strategies and ensure timely fixes following testing initiatives. • Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders to identify challenges and facilitate impactful solutions that boost the team’s contributions. • Influence the team's strategic direction and work collaboratively to prioritize and execute specific roadmaps and projects over the next several years. Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent international degree) in Information Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, Cyber Security, or related fields. • 2+ years of experience in Red Teaming, Penetration Testing, or cyber threat hunting. • Proficiency in coding or scripting in at least one general-purpose programming language. Preferred Qualifications: • Certifications like Offensive Security Certified Professional, Offensive Security Exploitation Professional, Certified Red Team Operator, or Certified Red Team Leader. • Publicly available tools, presentations, or research contributions in the field of Cybersecurity. Compensation: $122,000/year to $181,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits.
