SCADA Network Engineer
Location: New York City, NY — On-Site
Compensation:
W2 Salary Target: $120,000
1099 considered if market conditions require
Responsibilities:
Design, support, and maintain SCADA / OT network infrastructure
Support SCADA server environments, switching, routing, and field communications
Support and troubleshoot communications between SCADA systems, PLCs, and field devices
Work directly with PLC-controlled systems to ensure reliable network connectivity and data flow
Support HMI systems connectivity, performance, and integration with SCADA platforms
Implement network segmentation and OT security best practices
Support remote access and monitoring solutions for SCADA and industrial environments
Support incident response and operational troubleshooting across network, PLC, and HMI layers
Participate in on-call and emergency response rotations
Required Qualifications:
5+ years network engineering experience in SCADA, ICS, or industrial environments
Hands-on experience supporting or integrating with PLCs and HMI systems
Strong troubleshooting across server → network → PLC → HMI → field device layers
Experience supporting mission-critical or 24x7 operational environments
Strong understanding of OT network reliability and industrial communications
Required Certifications:
CCNA preferred
CCNP, Industrial Networking, or OT Security certifications a plus
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Networking, Engineering, or equivalent experience
