Scada Engineer

SCADA Network Engineer Location: New York City, NY — On-Site Compensation: • W2 Salary: $120,000 • 1099 considered if market conditions require Responsibilities: • Design, support, and maintain SCADA / OT network infrastructure • Support SCADA server environments, switching, routing, and field communications • Support and troubleshoot communications between SCADA systems, PLCs, and field devices • Work directly with PLC-controlled systems to ensure reliable network connectivity and data flow • Support HMI systems connectivity, performance, and integration with SCADA platforms • Implement network segmentation and OT security best practices • Support remote access and monitoring solutions for SCADA and industrial environments • Support incident response and operational troubleshooting across network, PLC, and HMI layers • Participate in on-call and emergency response rotations Required Qualifications: • 5+ years network engineering experience in SCADA, ICS, or industrial environments • Hands-on experience supporting or integrating with PLCs and HMI systems • Strong troubleshooting across server → network → PLC → HMI → field device layers • Experience supporting mission-critical or 24x7 operational environments • Strong understanding of OT network reliability and industrial communications Required Certifications: • CCNA preferred • CCNP, Industrial Networking, or OT Security certifications a plus Education: Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Networking, Engineering, or equivalent experience • TekBank is committed to equal opportunity employment and building diverse technical teams that support critical infrastructure.
