Position Overview Zayn Technology is seeking a skilled and motivated IT Network Engineer to join our growing technical team in Muscat, Oman. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and securing our network infrastructure while ensuring high availability and optimal performance. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities • Design, configure, implement, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN networks • Install, configure, and support network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, and access points • Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure minimal downtime • Manage network security, including firewall rules, access control, and threat mitigation • Perform regular network maintenance, upgrades, and documentation • Support IT infrastructure projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams • Provide technical support and guidance to internal users as required • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry best practices Required Qualifications & Skills • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field • Proven experience as a Network Engineer or similar role • Strong knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, DNS, DHCP) • Hands-on experience with Cisco, Fortinet, MikroTik, or similar networking products • Experience with firewall configuration, VPNs, and network security practices • Ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues efficiently • Strong communication and documentation skills Preferred Qualifications • Professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent • Experience in cloud networking and hybrid environments • Prior experience working in the GCC region is an advantage What We Offer • Competitive salary package • Opportunity to work with modern networking technologies • Professional growth and certification support • Collaborative and dynamic work environment How to Apply Interested candidates can send their CV to with the subject line: "Application for Network Engineer"
