Role: Salesforce Technical Lead (Data Cloud & Agentforce)

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Technical Lead with deep expertise in Data Cloud, Agentforce, and enterprise-scale Salesforce architecture. This role owns the technical design standards, ensures architectural alignment, leads development teams, resolves complex issues, and drives high-quality, scalable, and secure Salesforce solutions. The Technical Lead will work closely with architects, developers, and business stakeholders to build and optimize the enterprise Salesforce ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Architecture Alignment
• Own and define technical design, guardrails, and implementation standards for Data Cloud and Agentforce.
• Ensure solution designs align with enterprise architecture, platform roadmap, and Salesforce best practices.
• Lead technical evaluations, feasibility studies, and design workshops.
Enterprise Hub & Multi-Org Architecture
• Set up and manage the Enterprise Org Hub to support multi-org, multi-cloud, and scalable architectural patterns.
• Define integration and governance models for connected enterprise experiences.
Data Cloud Expertise
• Lead the implementation of Salesforce Data Cloud, including data ingestion, harmonization, identity resolution, and activation.
• Oversee data pipelines, transformation logic, and performance tuning in Data Cloud.
• Operationalize Data Cloud for analytics, personalization, and AI-driven automation.
Agentforce (AI) Leadership
• Develop and deploy Agentforce AI use cases on the enterprise hub org leveraging Data Cloud signals.
• Ensure responsible and compliant usage of Salesforce AI.
• Build AI-enabled workflows and intelligent automations.
Integration & Enterprise Connectivity
• Architect integrations using APIs, platform events, and middleware tools.
• Ensure integration patterns meet performance, reliability, and scalability standards.
Governance, CoE & Optimization
• Define technical guardrails, build the Salesforce Center of Excellence (CoE), and establish governance frameworks.
• Assess current Salesforce orgs to identify technical debt and gaps; define optimization and modernization strategies.
Technical Oversight & Quality
• Guide developers and enforce development best practices.
• Perform code reviews, design reviews, and security/performance assessments.
• Troubleshoot complex data, AI, and integration challenges.
Collaboration & Mentoring
• Work with architects, product teams, and business owners to convert roadmap goals into technical solutions.
• Mentor developers and admins, promoting engineering excellence.
Qualifications
Required
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of Salesforce technical leadership experience.
• Hands-on experience with: Setting up Enterprise Org Hub, Implementing Data Cloud, Developing Agentforce AI use cases, Integrating with external applications/platforms, Defining guardrails & establishing CoE governance, Assessing Salesforce orgs & optimization strategy.
• Strong Apex, LWC, API integration, and secure scalable design expertise.
• Understanding of security, OAuth, SSO, and data governance.
Preferred
• Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant Certification.
• Salesforce AI Specialist / AI Associate.
• Application Architect or System Architect certifications.
• Experience with Mulesoft, Kafka, Boomi, or similar tools.
• Background in large multi-cloud, multi-org enterprise environments.
