Qualifications & Experiences:
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 7-10 years of experience in QA/QC within a switchgear manufacturing environment
• Sound knowledge & experience in testing of electrical switchgear products – Medium Voltage, LV distribution boards, package substations, CRPs
• Proficient in establishing and maintaining test records and documentation
• Familiar with international standards (IEC, ISO, etc.) and Quality procedures
• Proficient in reading electrical drawings, schematics, and quality documentation
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
• Certification in ISO 9001:2015 or relevant QA/QC courses is an advantage.
• Lead Auditor Training course on ISO process will be advantageous
Job Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement QA/QC procedures, inspection checklists, and quality plans
• Ensure compliance with IEC, ISO, and other relevant industry standards and customer specifications
• Perform in-process quality inspection's during incoming, assembly, wiring, and panel integration stages as per applicable standards.
• Ensure final quality for switchgear panels, package substations, and CRPs as per internal guidelines, processes, approved drawings, test procedures, and customer specifications.
• Support for all QA/QC related documentations & practices during FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) with clients/consultants
• Identify and investigate non-conformities and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Implement various Problem-solving methods for closures of RCA's
