As the Data Science Manager of the User Generated Content (UGC) team, you'll define the UGC DS research roadmap, partnering with the team leads to help shape our longer-term strategy. You'll help us understand how to connect creators with their followers, how to improve tooling to build higher quality games, deep dive into the technical limitations to understand which ones we need to prioritize, and surface content back to creators themselves.
• *WHAT YOU'LL DO**:
- Support data scientists focused on UGC across multiple teams, including the MakerPen, Logic, and UGC Foundations teams
- Partner with designers and engineers to define the DS research and understand the roadmap that can best inform short and long-term product strategy
- Work with team leads on integrating A/B testing as part of the product development cycle
- Contribute, to a limited capacity, as an IC, driving larger strategic projects to completion
- Define best practices and support and grow a high-quality, high-impact team
• *WE ARE LOOKING FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH**:
- 5+ years of product analytics experience, with substantial experience as a senior or principal individual contributor in a user-facing product company
- Experience in a management or tech lead role
- Deep familiarity with A/B testing
- Have a high level of proficiency in SQL (aggregate functions, window functions, complex joins, CTE), and working knowledge of R/python
- Ability to communicate effectively with audiences of various technical and non-technical backgrounds
