• *Job Description**:
As a Data Science Manager, you will assume several responsibilities across delivery, business development, management /mentoring, recruitment, marketing / content development:
- ** Expertise**: lead the development of the data science practice including RPA, Data, Data Science, Digital transformation in a wide range of sectors such as Energy, Banking, Government, MCX, Retail etc
- ** Business Development**: driving growth and improving revenue for the firm / drive proposals and client material.
- ** Delivery**: Lead teams and deliver project work across a range of clients based either from our office in the Kingdom or at client site.
- ** Management & Monitoring**: support the management team and ensure mentoring and developing junior team members.
- ** Recruitment & Marketing**:Contribute to the development of the Sia Partners brand and actively participate to the recruitment.
As part of a diverse and motivated team, you will be involved in transformation projects at our clients. You will **manage and execute** project assignments in modelling and digital transformation (business/IT analysis and partial coding) environments with a good deal of business perspectives:
- ** Data Management**: Support in Data Strategy Development, Data valuation strategy, governance, Data architecture, repository and Data modeling
- ** Data Analysis and / or visualization**: Creation and monitoring of KPIs, Data analysis, Data visualization and dashboarding.
- ** Machine learning, AI and statistics**: developing predictive models of decision making (supervised and unsupervised learning algorithms, econometrics, forecasting, NLP, quantitative diagnosis,...).
- ** Operations research**: assistance in the design and implementation of optimization solutions under constraints and simulation models.
- ** Big Data**:Algorithmic knowledge for large and unstructured data processing.
• *Qualifications**:
- At least 10 years of relevant work experience in data science field and in consulting and/or data related projects having managed and delivered projects in these fields.
- Expertise in the Public Sector, Banking and/or Energy is a big plus.
- Knowledge of the Middle East Market and previous experience in the KSA.
- Entrepreneurial drive - previous sales experiences is a must - thrives on growth challenges with regard to client development and business development.
- Ability to work with senior stakeholders.
- Strong project / program management experience with a focus on Agile Methodology.
- Team player and ability to navigate in a multi-cultural environment.
- Proficiency in at least 2 of the following: Python, R, SQL.
- Solid foundation in scripting languages like (Python, Perl, JS, bash) or compiled (C ++, Java) and/or have experience in environments UNIX / LINUX.
- Proficient English and Arabic speaker.
