Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically strong Linux & Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to manage, support, and enhance our on-premise and cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience with Linux systems, container platforms, virtualization, cloud services, and infrastructure automation.
Key Responsibilities
• Install, configure, manage, and troubleshoot Linux systems (RHEL-based environments)
• Design, deploy, and maintain Kubernetes clusters and Docker containers
• Manage and optimize VMware virtualized environments
• Deploy, monitor, and support workloads on AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Manage Kubernetes environments using Rancher / SUSE
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Ansible and Terraform
• Implement system hardening, patching, and security best practices
• Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity planning
• Perform backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability configurations
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide root cause analysis
• Collaborate with DevOps, application, and security teams
• Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures
Mandatory Skills & Qualifications
• Linux Certified Engineer (RHCSA / RHCE or equivalent)
• RHEL Certified
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker
• Solid experience with VMware vSphere
• Practical knowledge of AWS and GCP
• Experience managing Kubernetes through Rancher / SUSE
• Proven experience with Ansible and Terraform
• Strong Linux system administration and troubleshooting skills
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Scripting skills (Bash, Python)
• Knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP, firewalls)
• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.)
• Familiarity with security and compliance standards
• Experience in enterprise or service provider environments
