Essential Responsibilities: • Engage in both technical and business discussions to guide the future direction of our architecture. • Independently tackle and resolve customer-impacting incidents while ensuring effective communication. • Analyze, design, and create implementation roadmaps that align with a unified architectural vision for both current and future needs. • Collect and assess relevant data to define architectural requirements at the project level. • Contribute to infrastructure designs and deployments that emphasize standardization, consolidation, Total Cost of Ownership, security, and compliance with regulations. • Stay at the forefront of industry trends by researching and evaluating emerging technologies to enhance project and operational activities. • Lead the migration of applications from on-premise data centers to cloud environments. • Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions specifically tailored for the aerospace sector. • Promote a culture of open communication and teamwork, embodying the company's core values. • Provide leadership to ensure alignment of projects with business and IT strategic objectives. Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with at least 2 years of related professional experience, OR an Associate's degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, OR a High School Diploma with at least 7 years of professional expertise. • 2-3 years of hands-on experience in designing and implementing solutions on Azure. Eligibility Requirements: • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. • No visa sponsorship is available for this role. • Willingness to travel as needed. Desired Characteristics: • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with key Azure services, such as identity management, compute, networking, storage, and managed databases. • Experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux. • Understanding of LEAN practices. • Ability to participate in both technical and business discussions to ensure architecture aligns with business goals. • Familiarity with gathering architectural requirements processes. • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving skills, and technical leadership abilities. • Experience in developing or managing applications within cloud environments. • A collaborative problem-solving approach that includes input from various stakeholders. • Hands-on experience with infrastructure technologies. • A customer-centric mindset, making decisions based on customer needs and fostering strong relationships. • Strong analytical skills combined with the ability to communicate clearly about information evaluation and action. • Experience working across multiple functions and managing global resources. • A keen interest in emerging technologies supported by training or hands-on skills. Note: The base pay range for this role is $112,000 to $170,000 annually, influenced by experience and qualifications.
