Job Description Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Architect, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our cloud infrastructure solutions. This hands-on position requires a technical leader who can navigate complex architecture discussions, while also providing direct support in the execution of initiatives.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Engage in technical and business discussions to influence future architectural direction.
• Independently address and resolve customer-impacting incidents, ensuring clear and effective communication.
• Analyze, design, and develop implementation roadmaps that align with a cohesive architectural vision for current and future states.
• Collect and analyze pertinent data to establish architectural requirements at the project level.
• Contribute to infrastructure designs and deployments that prioritize standardization, consolidation, Total Cost of Ownership, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Stay ahead of industry trends by researching and evaluating emerging technologies to support both project development and operational activities.
• Facilitate the migration of applications from on-premise data centers to cloud environments.
• Design and deploy cloud infrastructure solutions tailored for the aerospace business sector.
• Foster a culture of open communication and teamwork, embodying the company's core values.
• Provide leadership to ensure that projects align with business and IT strategic objectives.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with at least 2 years of related professional experience, OR an Associate's degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, OR a High School Diploma with a minimum of 7 years of professional expertise.
• 2-3 years of hands-on experience in Azure design and implementation.
Eligibility Requirements:
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
Desired Characteristics:
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with core Azure services, including identity management, compute, networking, storage, and managed databases.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
• Understanding of LEAN practices.
• Ability to engage in technical and business discussions to align future architecture with business objectives.
• Familiarity with the process of gathering architectural requirements.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills along with technical leadership abilities.
• Experience in developing or managing applications within cloud environments.
• A collaborative approach to problem-solving, engaging input from a variety of stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure technologies.
• Customer-centric mindset, making decisions through the lens of customer needs and building strong relationships.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with clear communication abilities to evaluate and act on information.
• Experience working across multiple functions and managing global resources.
• A keen interest in current and emerging technologies, supported by training or practical experience.
Note:
The base pay range for this position is $112,000 to $170,000 annually, influenced by experience and qualifications. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on performance. The application period for this posting will close on January 15th, 2026.
