Job Description Summary Join our dynamic team as a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Architect, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our cloud infrastructure solutions. This hands-on position requires a technical leader who can navigate complex architecture discussions, while also providing direct support in the execution of initiatives. Essential Responsibilities: • Engage in technical and business discussions to influence future architectural direction. • Independently address and resolve customer-impacting incidents, ensuring clear and effective communication. • Analyze, design, and develop implementation roadmaps that align with a cohesive architectural vision for current and future states. • Collect and analyze pertinent data to establish architectural requirements at the project level. • Contribute to infrastructure designs and deployments that prioritize standardization, consolidation, Total Cost of Ownership, security, and regulatory compliance. • Stay ahead of industry trends by researching and evaluating emerging technologies to support both project development and operational activities. • Facilitate the migration of applications from on-premise data centers to cloud environments. • Design and deploy cloud infrastructure solutions tailored for the aerospace business sector. • Foster a culture of open communication and teamwork, embodying the company's core values. • Provide leadership to ensure that projects align with business and IT strategic objectives. Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with at least 2 years of related professional experience, OR an Associate's degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, OR a High School Diploma with a minimum of 7 years of professional expertise. • 2-3 years of hands-on experience in Azure design and implementation. Eligibility Requirements: • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. • Willingness to travel as needed. Desired Characteristics: • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with core Azure services, including identity management, compute, networking, storage, and managed databases. • Experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux. • Understanding of LEAN practices. • Ability to engage in technical and business discussions to align future architecture with business objectives. • Familiarity with the process of gathering architectural requirements. • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills along with technical leadership abilities. • Experience in developing or managing applications within cloud environments. • A collaborative approach to problem-solving, engaging input from a variety of stakeholders. • Hands-on experience with infrastructure technologies. • Customer-centric mindset, making decisions through the lens of customer needs and building strong relationships. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with clear communication abilities to evaluate and act on information. • Experience working across multiple functions and managing global resources. • A keen interest in current and emerging technologies, supported by training or practical experience. Note: The base pay range for this position is $112,000 to $170,000 annually, influenced by experience and qualifications.
