Our client, a multinational financial institution, is seeking an IT Infrastructure Specialist to join their IT team. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining the security, and efficiency of the core server, network, and end-user systems that support critical business operations.
Responsibilities
• Server & Network administration & Support
• Administer, support, and perform enhancements for Microsoft Windows Server and Linux operating system environments.
• Manage and support networking equipment including firewalls, routers, and switches, with knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN, and WAN technologies.
• Provide support for the end-user workstation environment, including Windows OS, LAN connectivity, and productivity software.
• Support IT infrastructure enhancement projects and maintain/review IT hardware and support contracts.
• Provide support for PABX telephony and Voice Record systems (preferred).
Requirements
• University graduate with a major in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant IT infrastructure working experience, with at least 2 years preferably within the Finance industry.
• Professional certifications such as MCSE, CCNA, or Linux qualifications are a strong advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows Server and Linux administration, and experienced in supporting end-user workstations and network equipment.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently under pressure, with a strong desire to learn new technologies.
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Mandarin.
