This is a full-time on-site role for an Information Technology Engineer based in Muscat. The role entails overseeing the technical infrastructure, providing technical support, troubleshooting IT issues, and ensuring smooth operation of the organization's network and systems. Additional responsibilities include managing network security, maintaining and optimizing networking systems, and resolving technical challenges to support business operations efficiently.
Job description
• Computer system configuration
• Windows Server setup, Networking and understanding of IT structure
• Installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and upgrading the hardware and software components on different network levels
• Prepare and update technical documentation
• Provide first-level troubleshooting support and assist with remote diagnostics
• Support customer training sessions and demos
Skills
• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Communication Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Solid technical foundation
• Currently living in Muscat
• Responsible, hard worker, committed, willing to learn and able to follow instructions
• Ability to travel on a regular basis to client sites
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness to the clients’ requests
• Client interface as needed for any of the following: software implementation or upgrade, problem resolution, enhancements, specialized reporting, training, etc
