• *Job Summary**
CN Customer & Intermodal Solutions & Innovation is seeking a senior DevOps Architect to drive the DevSecOps practice of the organization. As an expert in DevOps, you have a strong background in software engineering and modern cloud platforms. You will be responsible of driving our DevOps practice, implementing various development, testing & automation tools and ensuring that our standards and best practices are applied. You will be accountable to define continuous improvement objectives in collaboration with the leadership team
• *Main Responsibilities**
- Drive the organization DevOps practice and lead our DevOps team.
- Define & document standards, processes & best practices.
- Ensure these standards and best practices are followed and enforced.
- Define DevOps plans for key initiatives and support peers.
- Help integrate new technology & tools within pipelines and maintain integration with existing tools.
- Administer Azure DevOps projects.
- Extend and maintain tools customization through scripts.
- Elaborate and implement new solutions and jobs template for the DevOps platform.
- Help gathering metrics for industry standards KPIs.
- Research on emergent strategies in the industry.
- Work in collaboration with the platform team to define the DevOps roadmap.
- Work with release and operational teams to automate manual processes.
• *Requirements**:
- Strong experience in software engineering.
- 3+ years as a DevOps lead
- 3+ year experience with test automation and release management
- Strong knowledge CI/CT/CD with a focus on Software pipelines
- Strong experience leading practices and team’s work.
- Strong knowledge of software development.
- Strong knowledge of DevOps practices and tools like Azure DevOps
- Strong knowledge of Cloud native services, Azure, GCP, others
- Strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban backlog management
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes
- Knowledge in multiple DevOps platform and solutions like:
- Azure DevOps
- GIT (Azure Repos, BitBucket)
- SonarQube
- Sonatype Nexus
- Synopsys BlackDuck (FOSS management)
- MicroFocus Fortify (SAST/DAST)
Education/Certification/Designation
- Bachelor’s degree in technology related field or equivalent experience
