Position: Data Entry Officer

Job Description: A leading Canadian headwear supplier with operations in Montreal, Toronto, and Vancouver since 1983 is seeking a dynamic and detail‑oriented Data Entry Officer to join the Data Department at our Montreal, St‑Laurent head office.
This role is critical to ensuring accurate information management, timely order processing, and effective communication between departments.
The ideal candidate thrives in a busy environment, follows procedures thoroughly, and demonstrates a strong ability to work independently.
In addition, the successful candidate must be capable of performing the following tasks:
• Generate daily morning reports, including packing slips and accounting credits, while ensuring accuracy and priority‑based processing.
• Collaborate with internal staff to process daily order requests and stock adjustments within company timelines.
• Ensure timely and accurate receipt, updating, and maintenance of order and container information within the company’s internal systems.
• Adhere to defined cut‑off times and accurately process domestic and custom orders.
• Process time sensitive order change forms, returns, and credits efficiently while coordinating closely with cross‑functional departments.
• Support month‑end activities such as inventory verification and reconciliation.
• Review orders thoroughly using spreadsheets, company catalogues, and online resources to verify accuracy.
• Follow up with transportation and logistics providers to ensure timely resolution of order‑related issues.
• Update internal programs and send queries to Customer Service Representatives when needed.
• Investigate and follow up on stock discrepancies with warehouses.
• Maintain customer records and complete customer maintenance updates.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
The candidate must also possess the following qualifications:
• 2-4 years of experience in a similar position (asset)
• Bilingual (French and English)
• Strong analytical ability and creativity
• Strong teamwork skills with positive attitude
• Strong ability to perform independently when needed
