Controls Engineer

Role Description This is a full-time on-site role based in Schererville, IN, for a Controls Engineer. The role includes designing, programming, and troubleshooting control systems for welding and material handling equipment used in heavy industries. Responsibilities also include implementing process and motion control solutions, providing electrical design and support for systems, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to meet customer-specific needs. Qualifications • Proficiency in Process Control, Motion Control, and Robotics • Strong expertise in PLC Allen-Bradley(RS Logix, etc.) and troubleshooting electrical systems • Control system design including Electrical schematics & control panel design • Experience in programming and working with control systems for heavy industry equipment • Ability to work effectively in an on-site, collaborative environment • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience • Familiarity with safety regulations and standards in heavy industry manufacturing environments
