Hardscaping Labourer About the Role We are looking for a dependable and skilled Landscaping/Hardscaping Laborer to join our team installing playgrounds across the Lower Mainland. This role is well‑suited for someone who enjoys hands-on work, values quality, and wants to contribute to building safe and inspiring outdoor spaces for communities. You will work with drawings and plans, assist with layout, assemble playground structures, complete drilling and anchoring tasks, and help maintain a clean and organized job site. Regular use of both hand and power tools will be part of your daily responsibilities. Key Responsibilities • Read and interpret construction drawings and plans • Perform layout for playground assembly • Assemble and erect playground structures • Drill into the ground and complete surface mounts • Dismantle pallets and support site clean-up • Safely operate hand and power tools Essential Qualifications • Minimum 1 year of construction site experience • Comfortable and proficient with hand and power tools • Landscape or hardscape experience • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle • Strong communication skills and professional demeanor Preferred Assets • Leadership experience • Heavy Equipment Operator experience (skid steers, bobcats, small excavators) • Carpentry or shop experience • Playground installation experience • Interest in long-term growth within the company Why Join Us? You are required to bring steel‑toed boots. Expect a consistent 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime. Projects are located throughout the Lower Mainland, from Abbotsford to North Vancouver, and some may span several days. Lead hands must hold a CPSI certificate for playground installations. We proudly partner with municipalities, schools, and community organizations to create engaging outdoor recreation spaces. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vancouver, BC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $34.00/hr.
