We are urgently looking to hire an experienced, highly-talented Chief Data Solution Architect to join a global industry-leading Digital Consulting firm, based in their Dubai office, to lead pursuits and delivery of large cutting-edge digital projects across the UAE, Saudi Arabia and wider Middle East region.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design and implement effective database solutions and models to store and retrieve company data
• Examine and identify database structural necessities by evaluating client operations, applications, and programming
• Assess database implementation procedures to ensure they comply with internal and external regulations
• Install and organise information systems to guarantee client functionality
• Prepare accurate database design and architecture reports for management and executive teams
• Oversee the migration of data from legacy systems to new solutions
• Monitor the system performance by performing regular tests, troubleshooting, and integrating new features
• Recommend solutions to improve new and existing database systems
• Educate team members through training and individual support
• Offer support by responding to system problems in a timely manner
REQUIRED SKILLS
• Proven work experience as a Data Architect, Data Scientist, Data Analyst or similar role
• Apply sampling techniques to effectively determine ideal categories to be questioned
• Compare provided statistical information to identify patterns, relationships and problems
• Define and utilise statistical methods to solve industry-specific problems in varying fields
• In-depth understanding of database structure principles
• Knowledge of data mining and segmentation techniques
• Expertise in SQL and Oracle
• Familiarity with data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, D3.js and R)
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or relevant field
• 10+ years of work experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of database structure systems and data mining
• Excellent organisational and analytical abilities
• Outstanding problem solver
• Good written and verbal English communication skills
• Prior consulting experience a plus
