On behalf of our client, a large Federal Government Department, we have an immediate need for an Agile coach to help both business and IT stakeholders learn, adopt, and persist agile practices. The consultant will complete, at a minimum, the following services and provide the associated deliverables described below:
Deliverables
· Develop and maintain a Leadership Coaching Program for Product Team and Pods to build, grow, and sustain a thriving Agile environment.
· Develop and assess content and techniques to teach, mentor and improve Agile practices across the organization.
· Facilitate a continuous learning environment, helping teams to inspect & adapt
· Identify and suggest ways to strengthen the team's understanding of Agile.
· Provide integrated coaching and guidance to the Product Team and Pods leadership to cultivate high-performing agile teams
· Support Product Team and Pods to focus on delivering Business Value across the organization and internalize continuous improvement habits.
Technical Skills/Requirements
· Must have a minimum College Diploma/Certificate with a concentration in Business, Administration, or Information Technology, or a combination of education and related experience
· 10+ years practicing Agile, including Scrum and/or Kanban
· 5+ as a coach/transformation advisor at an enterprise level, including coaching senior leaders
· Must have an Advanced Agile Certification:
o Agile Coaching certification, for example : Disciplined Agile Coach (DAC), ICAgile ICP-ACC, ICAgile ICE-AC, ICAgile ICP-ATF
o Agile methodologies certifications, for example : PSM, KMP, DASM and DASSM, PMI-ACP
· Experience with Azure DevOps is an asset
· Must have a functional understanding of government or financial industries
· English Essential: Bilingual in French and English is an asset
Functional Requirements
· Expert level knowledge of Agile practices:
o Experience creating strategies for the application of agile practices while fostering collaboration between different teams and departments.
o Experience providing the tools, situational guidelines and sharing an understanding of the various agile approaches available to achieve better results.
· Experience acting as an advisor and coach of teams and leaders:
o Experience advising on the organizational change required to support agile adoption and transformation, including systems, processes, and management practices. He/She has advised leaders (directors and managers) on the changing role and expectations of leaders in an agile context and guides them on the expected mindset and behaviors
