Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement test strategies that align with ISG QA standards while ensuring compliance with documentation requirements and evidence capture practices
• Define test scope, objectives, success criteria, and quality gates with stakeholders
• Plan and manage the transition roadmap from manual testing to automation, including tool adoption (such as Tosca, Playwright, or equivalent) and potential cloud integration
• Manage and coach the testing team by providing technical leadership, coaching, and performance feedback, while allocating resources effectively across projects.
• Communicate test status, quality metrics, risks, and recommendations clearly.
• Establish best practices and enforce testing methodologies across the team.
• Conduct peer reviews of test artifacts and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Manage testing activities within secure environments, adhering to security protocols
• Guide structured test design practices to support automation readiness
• Collaborate with the ISG QM Section to align testing activities with organizational quality objectives and provide regular progress and quality outcome reports.
Essential Requirements
• Minimum 10 years in software testing or quality assurance with at least 3 years in test management, test lead, or equivalent leadership roles
• Proven experience managing testing teams (5+ members) across multiple concurrent projects
• Strong knowledge of test management methodologies, SDLC, and Agile practices
• Ability to develop test strategies for enterprise systems in secure or regulated environments
• Hands-on experience with automation tools (e.g., Tosca, Selenium, Playwright, or equivalents)
• Proficiency in test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA)
• Experience working with installation and setup in GSIB/COMET laptops
Highly Desirable Qualifications:
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
• Professional testing certifications (e.g., ISTQB Advanced Test Manager, CSTE, or equivalent)
• Certified in Tricentis TOSCA Architect or equivalent advanced automation certification
• Expertise in automation tool implementation and optimization
• Experience with setting up of Tosca in cloud-based environments (e.g. in Government Commercial Cloud) and CI/CD integration
• Experience in government or public sector IT projects
• Knowledge of performance, security, and non-functional testing practices
