• *Role**:
As our Tech Lead - AI & LLM Specialist, you will lead and empower a team of software developers, ensuring a balance between technical execution, AI innovation, project management, and client collaboration. You will be responsible for both technical leadership and stakeholder management, driving the strategic integration of AI capabilities—particularly those leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs)—while fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Chrono Innovation is looking for a Tech Lead - AI & LLM Specialist to:
- Lead, coach, and manage a team of software engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and feedback to ensure high-quality development.
- Guide AI solution architecture: from prompt engineering to fine-tuning, RAG pipelines, and production deployment.
- Own the evaluation and continuous improvement of AI/LLM models based on performance, relevance, and business fit.
- Educate and mentor other developers on AI/ML best practices, model usage, prompt design, and operationalization.
- Contribute to the development of reusable AI components and internal frameworks to accelerate delivery.
- Act as a bridge between technical teams, business teams, and clients, ensuring alignment with company goals and priorities.
- Manage team workload, prioritize tasks, and oversee multiple projects, ensuring smooth execution and delivery.
- Serve as the main technical point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and expectation management.
- Manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, keeping all stakeholders informed.Gather client requirements and feedback, ensuring solutions align with their needs and business goals.
- Anticipate risks and dependencies, proactively addressing potential challenges before they escalate.
- Ensure adherence to best practices and industry standards in both software development and AI/ML engineering.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and problem-solving within the team.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from ideation to deployment.
• *Qualifications**:
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong background in software development, AI/ML engineering, and team leadership.
- Hands-on experience with LLM platforms (e.g., OpenAI, Gemini, Anthropic) including prompt engineering, zero/few-shot tasks, embeddings, and fine-tuning.
- Experience with MLOps/LLMOps tools (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph, MLflow, Weights & Biases).
- Knowledge of agent orchestration frameworks and multi-agent collaboration design.Strong background in data engineering for AI workloads, including vector stores (e.g., Pinecone, FAISS) and privacy best practices.
- Familiarity with AI ethics, governance, and responsible AI principles.
- Proficiency in various programming languages and tech stacks, with strong expertise in modern frameworks and cloud environments.
- Solid experience with Agile methodologies, DevOps principles, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a creative and analytical mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts to both internal teams and external clients.
- Ability to balance technical leadership, AI innovation, team development, and project execution.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while keeping the team aligned and motivated.
