Title :Student - Client Services, Building**: Job Close Date: Feb 12, 2025 File Number : 2079 Employee Group : Local 101 Service Area : Housing and Community Growth Division : Economic Services and Supports Job Type : Full-Time Temporary (up to 15 weeks) # of Openings : 1 Summary of Duties : Reporting to the Co-ordinator, Client Services, Building - Housing & Community Growth, the student’s primary responsibilities are: Assists with providing customer service and telephone answering services for Housing & Community Growth; Provides assistance compiling and updating database information; Types, copies and distributes materials as required for Housing and Community Growth Applications; Scans documents and files them in the City’s electronic document management system (Sharepoint); Qualifications : Enrolled in Office Admin Executive Program or related field. Must be a current student enrolled in full-time studies returning to school full-time September 2025 and/or require this placement to graduate from an academic program. Specialized Training & Licenses : Experience with Microsoft Word, Adobe and data entry software (Excel) Typing speed of 40 wpm with high degree of accuracy Experience in working with the public Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize Ability to work in a team environment Compensation & Other Information : $22.44/hour. This posting is for one (1) temporary full-time up to 4 month student position (May - September 2025). Current hours of Work: Monday - Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Work Arrangement: In office.
