Be able to connect with the business users = solid communication skillsSenior QA Analyst = need to hold leadership qualities but not be a lead = be able to coach and mentor junior peopleMust hold experience working with business users and development teams = someone who can build relationshipsHands-on tester = functional focus vs ETL (70/30)2 yrs min = ETL - data source validation, database testing (Informatica tool is helpful)5 yrs min of SQL = Materialized views, created SQL joins, etc.5 yrs min = SIT, integration and functional testingBe able to facilitate UAT = guiding the business to come up with high level scenarios and driving it through it to completionNeed: ALM and Jira [moved over to Xray (it integrates directly into Jira it's USG test management tool)]GENERAL OVERVIEW:• Extensive experience with creating SQL queries (Selects, Joins, subqueries)• Strong grasp on Agile QA process• Self-Directed• Excellent listening, oral, and written communication skills/ Highly detail oriented and well organized• Experience with creating SQL views/materialized views• Experience with Informatica• Experience with PL/SQL• Experience with Reports Testing• ETL testing ExperienceResponsibilities:• Meet w/Dev/BA to ensure there is clarity on the Defect/Enhancement being worked on• Provide developers/BA’s with high level test scenarios following USG standards• Write test cases following USG standards• Utilize USG quality tools (ALM/JIRA) following USG standards• Verify code meets Requirements & Business expectationsSkills:• Demonstrates analytical thinking – the ability to identify / communicate / provide solutions to problems• Possesses the ability to be able to hold others & themselves accountable for following process/standards• Able to write comprehensive test cases and test scenarios• Demonstrates root cause analysis skills (troubleshooting)• Understands the importance of data within a test environment• 5+ years QA experience• Strong written and verbal communication skills• Strong grasp of QA processes• Proactive problem solver• Ability to support meetings until 10AM central• Experience with ALM/JIRA• Experience in Agile/Dynamic environments
