We are seeking a skilled Data Developer to join our team in Muscat. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust data integration solutions and data models. You will play a key role in transitioning and managing data across on-premises SQL Server environments and modern cloud-based architectures like Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Factory.
Key Responsibilities
• Data Integration:
Design and deploy ETL/ELT workflows using
SSIS
(on-prem) and
Azure Data Factory
(cloud).
• Modern Analytics:
Implement and manage data solutions within
Microsoft Fabric
.
• Database Management:
Optimize and maintain
SQL Server
databases, including complex stored procedures and performance tuning.
• Data Modeling:
Create and maintain efficient data models (Star/Snowflake schemas) to support business intelligence needs.
• Collaboration:
Work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical data solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• 3 to 6 years
of professional experience in data engineering or SQL development.
• Expertise in
SQL Server
,
SSIS
, and
Azure Data Factory (ADF)
.
• Hands-on experience or strong working knowledge of
Microsoft Fabric
.
• Strong proficiency in
Data Modeling
principles.
• Excellent communication skills
(written and verbal) are essential.
• Preferred:
