In this role, you will play a key part in developing advanced backend systems that drive pharmacy software innovation, ensuring efficiency and scalability for healthcare operations. You will collaborate across teams to design, implement, and maintain distributed systems that support real-time interactions and complex workflows in the telehealth and pharmacy sectors.Responsibilities:• Lead the design, development, and optimization of backend services, APIs, and data pipelines to support large-scale pharmacy operations.• Architect distributed systems that handle high webhook traffic, third-party integrations, and real-time scheduling for providers and patients.• Establish and enforce best practices for system performance, security, and scalability to ensure reliable healthcare workflows.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Frontend, and Pharmacy Operations, to create seamless solutions for healthcare challenges.• Mentor team members, set technical standards, and make key architectural decisions to guide the backend engineering strategy.• Ensure system reliability and resilience, focusing on patient safety and operational efficiency in distributed environments.• Drive innovation within the engineering team, fostering a culture of technical ownership and collaboration.• Optimize infrastructure for scalability and maintainability as the platform grows to meet increasing healthcare demands.
