You Are
We are looking for a driven and technically adept Full Stack Software Engineer to contribute to the design and implementation of tailored applications for our diverse clientele. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Linux, a thorough understanding of modern web applications, and effective communication skills for engaging with technically adept users across various topics.
The Work
As a Full Stack Engineer, you will play a vital role in designing, developing, and managing custom web applications deployed on enterprise infrastructures, including AWS, Azure, and On-Prem environments. You will assist users in configuring, managing, and optimizing their use of custom APIs and datasets. Additionally, you will design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and AWS CDK.
Our engineers excel in clear and effective communication, providing support and guidance on a variety of technical challenges. Your robust Linux skills will be essential in troubleshooting issues, optimizing system performance, and ensuring a stable environment for custom software solutions.
This position may require travel, with the extent ranging from 0% to 100% based on business needs and client requirements.
Here's what you need
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience; if an Associate's Degree, a minimum of 6 years work experience is required.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on programming experience with Python, including the ability to write, debug, and maintain production-quality code.
• At least 1 year of experience with two or more of the following: Linux Systems Administration, Docker / Kubernetes, a modern JavaScript framework (like React or NodeJS), or DevOps practices.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a platform engineering or developer role.
• At least 3 months of experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools, such as Terraform.
Professional Skills Requirements
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Bonus points if you have
• Experience working with Artificial Intelligence (AI), Large Language Models (LLM), or High-Performance Computing (HPC).
• Background in Data Engineering or Data Science.
• Strong proficiency in Linux, with an in-depth understanding of the operating system at the kernel level.
• Familiarity with AWS services, specifically EC2, Lambda, EKS, and Fargate.
• Experience in full-stack application development using cloud provider APIs.
• Proficiency in developing and maintaining cloud infrastructure with Terraform.
• Experience with Conda and managing Python environments.
Compensation at Accenture
Compensation at Accenture varies based on multiple factors including office location, role, skill set, and experience level. As mandated by local law, here is the salary range for this role:
• California: $63,800 to $205,800
• Cleveland: $59,100 to $164,600
• Colorado: $63,800 to $177,800
• District of Columbia: $68,000 to $189,300
• Illinois: $59,100 to $177,800
• Maryland: $63,800 to $177,800
• Massachusetts: $63,800 to $189,300
• Minnesota: $63,800 to $177,800
• New York/New Jersey: $59,100 to $205,800
• Washington: $68,000 to $189,300
